How to Install WordPress? A Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Get Started7 min read

You also have to load WordPress site by typing yourdomain.com/WordPress/. Move all files to public_html/root folder from the extracted WordPress directory. You can skip this part. Be sure the domain targets to the extracted WordPress folder.

  • Now you can open the installation process by going to site’s URL.
  • Create a wp-config.php file.
  • Follow the steps detailed in the prompt, fill in the details like database name, database host (localhost), username, password and hit Submit button.
  • Start installation by clicking “Run the Install”.
  • Enter the details about your site and click “Install WordPress”.
